Italian Dream Courts is a celebration of tennis culture, Italian design, and the emotional power of place—where sport, art, and lifestyle intersect. To bring this vision to life, we are honored to present an exclusive exhibition at The Office MIA featuring the work of artist François Piacente, whose sculptural approach captures the atmosphere and memory embedded within iconic courts. Piacente’s work explores more than the game itself. His practice focuses on form, proportion, and the quiet presence of space—the stillness before play, the geometry of lines, and the way light shapes a court’s surface. Much like tennis, his work is rooted in precision and balance, revealing a deep connection between environment, movement, and emotion. Together, we reimagined the courts that hold personal and cultural significance, creating one of one hundred scale works inspired by Cortina, Positano, Sardegna, and Forte dei Marmi. Each piece reflects a different chapter of Italian sport and lifestyle, where architecture, landscape, and tradition converge. Through Piacente’s lens, these courts become sculptural objects—icons of place translated into intimate, tactile forms. This exhibition represents an ongoing dialogue between art and tennis that Blu Scarpa continues to champion. Tennis has always been more than competition—it is a cultural language shaped by history, design, and the rhythm of life. Italian Dream Courts embodies that spirit, blending Italian elegance with contemporary expression. Presented by The Office MIA and showcased in the Miami Design District at the Blu Scarpa boutique, Italian Dream Courts invites viewers to experience tennis not just as a sport, but as a reflection of memory, craft, and enduring style.
